We want to find out what our readers and customers consider to be the most boring, beautiful and best canals to navigate in the UK.

So therefore we need your help, let us know your top 3 Bs and we can then compile a list based from the readers of the Venetian marina blog and visitors to the marina. This is just for fun and to find out what you all think of the various routes we have in the UK.

So please don’t take offence when the results are published if your favourite route is named in the most boring category we all have different tastes and there’s no right or wrong here.

It would also be useful and interesting if you could give a reason for your nomination. To get the ball rolling we have nominated:

Best – Shropshire Union Canal, Middlewich branch – simply because we are located here plus it’s a great start to the whole network!

Beautiful – Llangollen Canal - as it’s the most picturesque canal with beautiful countryside and breath taking engineering  

Boring – Manchester Ship Canal – Very industrial and personally not my cup of tea at all
