In early March traveling in narrowboat "JOLLIE" from Tattenhall Marina to New Mills Marina, in rather dreadfull weather. The centerline splice parted, & on the muddy towpath, falling I sustained a shoulder injury. Unable to proceed down through the lock to rest up, my companion elicited help from Venetian, the two gentlemen noted agreed to help after their shift ended. I decided to sell my narrowboat , moored at Whixall , in January as I didn't use it enough. I contacted Venetian Marina and Zoe came and met me at Grindley Brook to value it for me. However before I had a chance to move it the Covid curse struck! I eventually got it to Venetian on June 18th, a prospective buyer had it surveyed on August 20th and within the week the sale was completed. An excellent service under extremely testing circumstances.

2nd December 2016 Narrowboat 'Aurthora' 

We decided to sell our 55ft narrow boat ’Aurthora’  in September 2016. Within several days of contacting Venetian Marina they came to inspect and at the same time give us a valuation of our boat. We were happy with the outcome and decided to give them the brokerage to sell our boat, and we delivered it to their Marina in seven days. They inserted it on their web page and before they had even printed the detail sheets, an offer of the asking price had been made and excepted by us. There was a slight delay waiting for a slot in the dry dock for a survey, but understandably nothing can be done about that. Within two days of the purchaser receiving the surveyors report he had transferred his funds to the Marina and in turn a day later we received our money into our bank. We were very impressed by a most satisfactory, stress free and smooth professional sale by the staff at Venetian Marina.   R.W.Hughes.
