Our charity donation for March 2019 went to Circus Star. They invite vulnerable, disabled and disadvantaged children to come and enjoy the show with their families and experience an enchanting world where inclusion comes first.

Venetian Marina gifts £1,000 to Macmillan Cancer Charity to assist them in their good work.

Congratulations to everyone who has helped us reach our 100th Narrowboat sale!  We've now reached our 100th Narrowboat Sale at Venetian Marina since April 2012!

To celebrate this we've donated £1,000 to Macmillan Cancer Charity.  We've also presented the 100th Narrowboat purchaser Mr and Mrs Ringwood-Walker with a bottle of Champagne after they purchased narrowboat 'Lothlorien' and found out that their boat was the 100th!

Here is a picture below of sales executive Lee Evans presenting Mr and Mrs Ringwood-Walker their champagne and the Macmillan £1,000 cheque.

Macmillan Cancer Charity fundraising manager Sarah Page also came to Venetian Marina to pick up their cheque!  From left to right: Lee Evans, Sarah Page, Abi Dennison and Zoe Sandland.

Background information on Venetian Marina: Venetian Marina was bought out by Whilton Marina Ltd in December 2011, since then vast amounts of capital has been invested in the marina to bring it in to the 21st century. New state of the art fiberglass non-slip decking has been installed; WIFI is available to all of our customers; 10 plus jobs have been created, two other businesses have been provided with business premises and our narrowboat sales basin has more than quadrupled in size.
