Cost effective narrow boat brokerage service

Let Venetian Marina  take the hassle out of selling your boat!

Venetian Marina have a dedicated sales basin and sales team who are on site seven days a week. Prospective buyers are not asked to make an appointment to view, but to simply turn up and view at their leisure as many boats as they wish.

Our team are extremely knowledgeable and will guide both seller and buyer through the sales process to make it as smooth and stress free as possible for all parties.

During summer months our sales team are on hand every day from 9am until 5.30pm and this includes a  Sunday too. Due to Covid 19 and the Government guidance we have had to alter the way we work, please see our latest Covid 19 update page which you can reach from our home page. We are constantly changing the way we work to comply with the latest rules.

Every one of our sales piers are gritted and galvanised making viewing, even in bad weather easy. Every pier includes water and electric and while your boat is for sale with us there will be no charge for mooring or storage.

The first step, for you to take, is to contact us for a chat about your boat and from there we will make you an appointment to visit you at your boat to ascertain a realistic guide price that you can aspect to achieve on brokerage. Every boat is different but a valuation usual takes about 30 minutes and will include us viewing and running your engine from cold as well as reviewing the fit out and exterior condition of your boat. It's always helpful to have any history, boat manuals and maintenance receipts available during the valuation.

The second step is to simply bring the boat to us to Venetian Marina. We'll go over the boat again with you to ensure all the details we have are correct, there will be some paperwork to sign and then we'll do the rest!

If you make the decision to place your boat onto brokerage with us you'll benefit from our vendors log in area which means you can log in any time and view what interest you've received and where we've advertised your boat.

We will communicate with you via phone or e-mail and keep you up to speed throughout but remember, at the end of the day, we are here to help you, if you have any concerns please talk to us!
