Christmas At Venetian Marina
Who saw 2020 panning out like it did, certainly not us!!! It has been a very strange year for everyone, with some ups and a lot of downs, but it is finally coming to a close. We are getting into the Christmas spirit here at Venetian Marina, and wanted to take this opportunity to discuss the comings and goings for the festive period.
Our tree is up and some of us will be sporting our Christmas jumpers in the run up to Christmas in the office, hoping to spread some festive cheer.
Narrowboat Sale
Let us start with some good news. Our sale has been extended past Black Friday, and will now run until closing time on Christmas Eve. Don't miss out on the great reductions we have on offer!

Sales Office Opening Hours
We are currently still open every day, including weekends, from 9.00am until 5.00pm. We will be closed for Christmas from the 25th December until the 2nd of January, when normal service will resume. We will be open on Christmas Eve until 1.00pm.
Venetian Hire Boats & Chandlery
Sue & BJ next door at Venetian Hireboats & Chandlery are still going strong, as their second year at the helm comes to a close! They have recently decided to remove the dayboat from their fleet, in order to facilitate a brand new larger holiday boat, which will be coming soon!
They are open Wednesday to Sunday through winter, offering everything from coal to a can of beans. Anybody who has visited their shop knows what a delightful Aladdins cave they run and what a fantastic support they have been for many boaters and locals alike through this trying year.

Venetian Marina Tearoom
Andrea, along with her team at Venetian Tearoom, have had to make some changes due to current events. They are offering a takeaway service only, which will continue until after the Christmas break. Takeaway is available between the hours of 10am and 2pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Andrea has had to adapt several times throughout the year to ensure she is keeping to Government guidelines, some of her regular visitors for takeaway have been working paramedics who she has supported without fail during a very scary period. Andrea is a credit to the Venetian family and we hope you all get behind her in the coming months and support her small business.

Cover & Canvas
We welcomed a new business to the marina earlier this year. Nik Lambert, of Cover & Canvas. Nik is running one of the canal facing offices here at Venetian, making and selling custom bespoke canvas covers for narrowboats. He has had a successful first year, and is looking forward to continuing into 2021.
