The Roving Canal Traders Association in conjunction with Canal and River Trust and Ellesmere Council will be having its final Floating Market for 2014 on the 12 – 14th September and will be held at the Ellesmere Branch, Llangollen Canal, Ellesmere, Shropshire.

If you are thinking of cruising to this event then moorings will be allocated on a strictly first come-first served basis, with due regard being taken to any special-needs requests where possible.

So get there early to avoid disappointment.

The floating markets are becoming increasingly popular with boaters as well as local people in the areas where they are held. It is a chance for licensed traders to sell their goods to passers by up and down the canal system.

It is also an opportunity to get to know more about life on the canal system and the work the Canal and river Trust do.

If you are thinking about setting up a business on a canal boat then why not consider joining The Roving Canal Traders Association all they ask is for a very small membership fee - 12 months Membership = £10.00!! and that you hold a current CRT Trading Licence.
