Narrowboat Sales Executive

Full time sales executive required, must be flexible to work weekends & bank holidays. Rota in place which may change to cover team members holidays.

As a Narrowboat Sales Executive, you will be instrumental in driving sales and fostering relationships within the boating community. This role requires strong communication skills and proficiency in IT to manage customer interactions effectively.

1. IT skills are essential (creating brochures online, editing the website, emails, excel & word)
2. Excellent communication skills, including a good telephone manner
3. Weekend work essential
4. Experience within a customer facing environment
5. Good negotiation ability
6. Approachable character who is able to work within a team and alone
7. Knowledge of narrowboats is not essential but you must be willing and able to learn

We are a busy small team who deal with leisure & residential moorings as well as buying & selling narrowboats plus we organise/run a busy engineering department.

The role will involve being face to face dealing with all boat related enquiries such as moorings, invoices, estimates for work, boat sale negotiations and post survey work. You will be required to work within an office environment and also out doors in all weathers. You will learn how to move and handle a narrowboat, how to start all kinds of engines, how various appliances and equipment aboard work plus more...

This is a very varied & hands on role!
