Cheshire is the perfect option for those who are looking for a luxurious destination to set up a home away from home!

So you fancy living in Cheshire's Golden Triangle and having a slice of the WAGs life but you don't like the look of those expensive price tags in the estate agents windows . Well we have a solution.....swap the Cheshire Triangle for the Cheshire Ring!

Last year the mirror reported that several footballers were struggling to sell their properties and were even having to slash the prices by hundreds of thousands of pounds to gain any interest from buyers.

Despite the fact the footballers have the very best money can buy and their homes are full of luxuries like swimming pools, beauty salons, gyms, cinema rooms and jacuzzi's there just doesn't seem to be enough people out there with the right amount of cash to take these premium properties off their hands.

But enough about the rich and famous and their property problems, let's talk about you and how you can be living your own dream on the Cheshire Ring without the worries some property owners are facing in the Golden Triangle.

So what do you get for your money?

97 miles of canal, around 55 hours of cruising, 92 locks and a narrow boat of your choice!

Choosing to live or cruise the Cheshire Ring enables you to experience a mixture of fabulous British country side, stunning towns and exciting cities all in one fabulous location.

There are plenty of sights and experiences you can enjoy in this idyllic location including; broad and narrow locks, aqueducts and tunnels. It also has the historic Anderton Boat Lift near Northwich.

A large selection of moorings can be found in the North West providing a safe and secure base for boaters. If you require somewhere to call home for more than a few weeks, or somewhere leave your boat permanently. Many boat yards and marinas offer additional services such as maintenance and repairs.

Check out what facilities are included in the mooring costs. Some places may include or charge for extras like; wifi, laundry rooms, toilets, showers, pump outs, slipways, dry dock use, cafes, parking and security such as cctv.

Continuous cruisers can keep exploring and make stops as required, as long as they abide by the waterways rules for staying in one place for a period of time.

Now the really interesting bit; The boat!
